How long does Sea Moss stay fresh?
All jars are made fresh on the day of dispatch and have a 3-week best before. This is because our sea moss contains no preservatives, keeping it as natural and pure as possible.
Keep refrigerated at all times. To extend its shelf life, you can freeze it in ice cube trays and defrost as needed.

Why does the texture, colour, or smell vary?
Because our sea moss is a completely natural product, you may notice slight differences in texture, colour, and smell from batch to batch. This is due to natural factors like seasonality, harvesting conditions, and sourcing.
These variations are totally normal and a sign that your sea moss is fresh, unprocessed, and free from preservatives.
Where does your sea moss come from?
Our sea moss is wildcrafted and naturally grown in St. Lucia. Harvesting is carried out in collaboration with local authorities to help ensure the marine environment remains protected and sustainable.
After harvesting, the sea moss undergoes a natural drying process, using sunlight during the day and cooler ambient conditions at night to gently preserve its nutritional profile.
Once dried, each batch is quality tested to ensure it meets safety standards and is free from harmful bacteria and contaminants. Only after passing these checks is it carefully prepared, packed, and shipped.
How long before I received my order?
We prepare your Seamoss within 24hours from when you have placed your order. We then ship your Seamoss on a next day service full tracked via royal mail.
What does Sea Moss Gel taste/smell like?
It has no taste on its own which is why it’s versatile to use in multiple recipes both sweet and savory. There is a slight sea/lime smell however this is very normal after all it is 100% organic and comes from the sea.
How much Sea Moss should I take daily?
We recommend taking no more than 2 tablespoons of sea moss gel per day. If you’re new to sea moss, you may prefer to start with 1 tablespoon daily to allow your body to adjust to the taste and texture.
For children, we suggest up to 1 tablespoon per day.
How do I store Sea Moss?
Sea Moss Gel is a fresh product and should be refrigerated immediately upon arrival. For best results, store it in the fridge for at least 2 hours before use and consume it within the best before date shown on the lid.
To extend its shelf life, we recommend freezing your sea moss gel in ice cube trays. This makes it easy to portion and use whenever needed. Once frozen, keep the cubes stored in an airtight container or bag and use within up to 6 months
How do I use seamoss to treat acne, eczema, psoriasis and other Skin irritations?
Rub a thin layer of seamoss on clean skin and let sit for 30 minutes. Before rinsing off with warm water and apply sensitive moisturiser
Can toddler/kids take seamoss?
Yes! Seamoss is great for kids. It helps to build and strengthen Strong bones and offers brain support. It contains essential minerals that your child needs, gives them a natural boost of energy and strengthens Their immune support.
What kind of water do you use to make the seamoss gel?
We use filtered alkaline water in all of our sea moss gel. Our in-house filtration system ensures the water is purified and free from contaminants, helping us maintain the highest quality and safety standards.
My gel taste 'fishy' is it still good?
We soak every batch of sea moss with limes to minimise the natural taste of the sea. While some say sea moss has no taste, every one's pallet is different and the moss will taste 'oceany' at times because it is from the ocean.
My gel has brown specs in it is it clean?
Yes, Our sea moss is cleaned thoroughly and we remove any pebbles, sea shells or ocean particles that has naturally attached to the sea moss. Because of the range in colours even golden sea moss can have pink and brown colours throughout. When the sea moss is blended, you may see these spec of colours in your sea moss.
My order arrived damaged/broken. What do I do?
We try our very best to guarantee that our products arrive undamaged, but sometimes life happens! To submit a claim for a refund/free replacement please include the following information via email:
